Woodstock, Illinois - The Woodstock Career Firefighters, Local 4813 of the International Association of Firefighters, formally announced its support of, Tom Allen, for McHenry County College (MCC) Board of Trustees. “Tom has served in multiple capacities within the college and has earned the respect of students and faculty, alike,” said Scott Wessel, President of Local 4813. Tom Allen, a resident of the Village of Lakewood, has pledged to continue to be a responsible steward of taxpayer money while advancing the student-focused mission of the college.
McHenry County College is responsible for most of the training and career development for McHenry County fire departments. The fire science program at MCC is ranked in the 90th percentile in the United States, largely in part to the talented staff in the fire science department and the support of the MCC Board of Trustees. The Woodstock Career Firefighters are proud to endorse, Mr. Allen, and his pledge to serve the students and tax payers of McHenry County.
